Strategies to Avoid Burnout Programme

Protect yourself from burnout. This workshop provides tools for cultivating resilience over the long term - during your studies and well beyond it. Practical, experiential, and evidence-based, you will create a personal road map for how to marshal your energy and focus when you feel over-stretched.

  1. Do you often feel mentally or physically drained by the demands of business school?
  2. Are you juggling multiple priorities and struggling to stay focused?
  3. Are you struggling to create space for deep, meaningful work amidst constant distractions?
  4. Have you noticed that your performance is slipping due to stress or lack of energy?
  5. Do you want practical tools to help you avoid burnout? 

If you answer yes to most of these questions, then this workshop is for you. 

You will work on: 

  • Determining your current energy levels, and choose what to do about them
  • Exploring the interferences that can get in the way of your focus and performance  
  • Understanding how to manage your resilience ceiling  
  • Making space to focus on “Deep Work”  
  • Creating a personal action plan that builds resilience and protects you from burnout 

By the end of this workshop, you will have: 

  •  Assessed your energy levels, identifying patterns and triggers that impact personal and professional performance.
  • Recognised common interferences—both internal and external—that contribute to reduced effectiveness and potential burnout.
  • Understood the concept of a ‘resilience ceiling’ and explore the mindset and behaviours associated with becoming ‘Shatterproof’. 
  • Applied techniques to create space for focus and productivity in demanding environments.
  • Developed a personalised action plan to strengthen resilience, minimise burnout risk, and proactively manage performance interferences.
